We all have super high hopes for our sessions. Lets face it, those ADORABLE photos on pinterest really raise our expectations, only to let us down at the first sign of a meltdown from an adorable two year old, you know the meltdown! 😉 Or, your adorable 6mo decides to spit up, right before the first shot! We have all been there! I have compiled a list of 5 things that other moms have found to be most helpful at their child’s photo shoot!

FAQ: I have an upcoming photo shoot with my kiddos, what should I bring?

Of course, beside yourself and your children, there are a few handy things that you may not of thought of to bring, just in case!

1) Wipes, you never know when something can get a little messy!

2) Small snacks, such as cheerios or puffs (refrain from anything with chocolate or extreme coloring, we find SMARTIES candies to be the best! They are small, and there are quite a few in a package! You can entice them with just one at a time and make just one package last the entire session!)

3) Favorite Toy, hidden until needed. This is a tough one, because bringing a favorite toy can make or break a session. If you feel your child would be too distracted by their favorite toy, maybe refrain from bringing it.

4) Back-up outfit; anything could happen.

5) Your Child’s Favorite Music (on an iphone or ipad)

These are just a few things that might make your session go a little smoother!
